How old does my child need to be to participate?
Children must be at least three years old and fully potty trained by the first day of VBS in order to participate. VBS is open to those through sixth grade.

Can my kids invite friends who don’t attend Refuge Church?
Yes! We love it when Refuge Kids invite friends to come with them!
What time should we arrive?
Check-in will begin at 6:15 p.m. After being checked in and receiving a security tag, Pre-school - 6th grade will be dropped off in the Worship Center.

Where will I pick up my child?
Your child will be picked up under the awning following VBS. At check-in you will receive a sign to place in your passenger side window. Pull up to the awning and your child's name will be called and they will be brought to your vehicle. PLEASE do not get out of your vehicle and enter the building.
What’s Family Night?
It's what we do on Friday evening. Family night is fun for all ages! It begins in the Worship Center with a quick recap of our week and a high energy time of family worship, followed by an ice cream bar. This is not a drop-off night. Parents or guardians must remain with their child throughout the evening.
Do you need volunteers?
Yes! If you have been a faithful attender at Refuge, we may have a place for you to help = food, check-in, games, or walking with kids from point A to point B? Background check is required. Contact Suzette Hinkle at suzette.hinkle@gmail.com if interested in being a volunteer.
