CHECK-IN

On Sunday mornings, the check-in process begins prior to the start of our morning worship service. Children's Church Check-In begins at 10:15am.

The first time you come, we will have you complete an information card with your household information for our system. This system each following week will print a child tag and a parent identification number that matches only your child(ren) to prevent any safety issues. Keep this parent tag safe because you will need it for pick-up.

PRESCHOOL CHILDREN'S CHURCH (2 years until Kindergarten/potty trained) is a place where we hope to make children feel safe and loved during our Sunday morning service. We will meet as long as there is at least two children present.

DROP OFF
  • Children should be checked in by a parent/guardian at the children's church room (restroom hallway entrance).
  • Children will enter to a background checked volunteer at the gate. No parent should enter beyond the check-in station at any time unless it is their day to volunteer.
  • Children will not be allowed to stay in our preschool room if they display signs of illness. For the safety of other children, please do not bring children to the preschool room if they are not feeling well, running a fever or have been diagnosed with a communicable disease.
  • Children will be served individual snacks and juice. Please inform the children's church worker of any new food allergies before dropping off the child.
  • No personal items should be left with children.
D6 CURRICULUM
CHILDREN'S CHURCH: CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT D6
Our curriculum, D6 (Deuteronomy 6), has proven to be intentional about empowering parents, homes, grandparents, leaders and churches in the process of positive discipleship and at Refuge we believe that scripture gives us a clear directive for the family and for the heart of God being taught not only in the church but more importantly in the home. Refuge uses the D6 curriculum to assist in aligning the church and the home to accomplish the design of generational discipleship.
PICK UP
Protecting the children in our care is our first priority. We ask that when you return to pick your child up you bring your parent ticket to verify which child is yours. Only authorized parents, guardians, or approved adults are allowed to check children out. You must have your parent sticker on your person at the time of pick up. Please be patient with us as we may request an ID at anytime to ensure your child's safety.

COMMUNICATION
  • Parents will be texted first.
  • Children will receive a 3 digit number on their sticker during the check-in process. If there is no response from the parental text, this number will appear on the sanctuary screen.
  • Parents must bring sticker for verification when going to Children's Church to check on OR pick up their child(ren).
